Both counselors at the SBDC at Wright State University are veterans and take pride in focusing on the veteran community by helping veterans learn about entrepreneurial opportunities. Boots to Business Training
The Two-day Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Self- Employment Intensive Training Workshop is offered in collaboration among the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University (IVMF), the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We are recruiting 30 interested transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses to participate in the workshop, you will learn if starting a business is right for you, if your business idea is feasible and much more!

Each year, the SBDC at WSU provides a series of night classes geared toward helping veterans grow their business. Current business owners or veterans who want to start a business may attend. The classes are currently offered at no charge, meet once per week for two hours and provide skills in varying areas of business growth and management.
