Starting a new business is a challenging task. The Small Business Development Center is here to help. Follow the steps below and contact an advisor if you have any questions.

1st: Check your credit report and credit score. (To review and improve your score contact:Consumer Credit counseling with Lutheran Social Services)
2nd: Download the information from the “First Stop Business” connection website
3rd: Review the information and fill in the questionnaire on starting a business
4th: Sign up for a “Business Start Up Course
5th: Download the request for counseling form
6th: Contact the SBDC to schedule an appointment for business counseling
